A course designed to help you master the fundamentals of aero yoga and learn how to confidently build a dynamic and coherent aero yoga class.

The 50h Level I Aerial Yoga Teacher Training is meant for:

  • Certified yoga teachers who want to hone their skills and increase their resources for creating safe, intelligent and dynamic aero yoga classes

  • Students who want to deepen their knowledge and take their own practice to the next level

  • For all those sports professionals looking to expand their professional horizons

What does it cover?


Level I Aerial Yoga Teacher Training covers the fundamentals of the aerial yoga technique. The course provides a solid base of theoretical knowledge and practical teaching methodology.


Our objective


To put a plethora of knowledge and tools at your disposal so that you may be the best aero yoga teacher (or practioner) possible! For us, the best teachers are those who never stop learning, who meet their students where they are and who seek to inspire under the precepts of yoga philosophy.

What will you learn?

  • How to use the silks safely

  • How to safely guide your students in tricky inversions, twists and holds to
    take your aero yoga practice to the next level

  • How to structure and lead the class from the basic warm-up, stretching and breathing, through floor poses and into complete sequences

  • How to set new goals for your students to continue to deepen their practice in a motivating and exciting way

 

Contents:

  • Fundamentals of aerial yoga technique (asana and applied anatomy)

  • Aerial Yoga Principles

  • Safety protocol (silks, knot, anchor, prevention rules)

  • Meditation techniques

  • Conscious breathing (pranayamas)

  • Relaxation techniques (savasana)

  • Sequencing and structuring a class

  • Language: how to give clear instructions to ensure the safety of students and the enjoyment of their practice

What will you receive at the end of the training?

 

  • 50 hours of aerial yoga training

  • Aerial Yoga Training Manual level I, containing reading material covering our philosophy and objectives, illustrations of all the aerial asanas and a breakdown of the different sections: aerial asanas, anatomy, history and philosophy, pranayama and meditation

  • Voucher for 7 aerial classes in our Lemon Yoga studio

  • Certificate endorsed by Yoga Alliance (YACEP or Continuing Education) and by Lemon Yoga Seville

The trainer

​

The program is carefully designed by our experienced instructor Fatima M. Ponce, who will lead you in your studies, providing you with all the tools you need to teach aerial yoga classes with confidence, skill and precision.


Fatima Martinez, graduate in law and Arabic and Islamic studies, is an advanced RYT 500 hour Yoga teacher, certified by Yoga Alliance and a YACEP aerial yoga trainer. She is also co-founder of the yoga studio Lemon Yoga.

​

She is also a member of the yoga teacher training team at the Developmental Yoga Studies (DYS) school and a promoter and precursor of aerial yoga in Seville, with a long history of experience in teaching aerial yoga classes.

Schedule:


Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Breakfast: 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Lunch: from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Dates: October 12 + 13 and 26 + 27
